The Purpose of Second Opinion Outpatient Services
Second Opinion Outpatient Services provide patients with opinions and judgments from a professional standpoint regarding diagnoses and treatments patients are currently undergoing at an outside medical institution. The purpose is for patients to use that information as a reference regarding their own medical care.
No new tests or treatments will be performed. Judgments will be made based on the information patients provide from their own experience and the test results and materials provided by the patient’s primary doctor.
